Why we built larpyourresume
Applying for jobs means explaining your work quickly, often more than once. We built larpyourresume to help people do that clearly and honestly.
The problem
A vague résumé can hide good work. 'Helped with software' tells a reader little about a project you built. At the same time, pressure to stand out can push applicants toward inflated claims. We want to help people choose relevant examples and describe their contribution without pretending.
The name
Online, 'larping' can mean performing an identity. The name is a joke about how theatrical job applications can feel. The point is to present the strongest truthful version of your experience. Our LARPing guide explains the joke and where we draw the line.
The product today
You can manually build a résumé for free, edit it through a form or in LaTeX, and download a PDF. Sisyphus AI assistance and paid packs are planned, not available today. We cannot promise an interview or a job. We can help make the work you have done easier to see.
